The City of Yorkton will begin seasonal concrete and asphalt paving work in May 2026 as part of its annual infrastructure maintenance program. These improvements help enhance safety, maintain roadway and sidewalk conditions, and extend the life of City infrastructure.

Construction schedules are weather-dependent and may change based on site conditions and contractor availability.
Project details
Concrete Replacement Program Repair and replacement of sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, with priority given to areas with with sidewalk uplifts or trip hazards, as well as areas that align with current and future paving work.
Asphalt Paving Program Milling and resurfacing of selected road segments. During a mill and overlay, the top layer of worn asphalt is removed and replaced with new asphalt to improve the road surface and extend the life of the street.
