The ice plant project is nearing completion, and the major aspects of the project have been wrapped up as of July 10, 2023. This included removing and installing new compressors, relocating access into the plant room to meet building and refrigeration safety codes, installation of a new emergency relief stack for the refrigeration system, and replacement of various pumps, motors, and other system controls. Work on the ice plant system will continue over the next few weeks, but is not critical to the ice making process. These aspects include lighting upgrades throughout the plant room, heating, cooling, and other ventilation work, and fine tuning of automation controls.
