S-CAPE Winter

S-CAPE Winter is the City of Yorkton’s February break day camp program, inspired by the same culture, arts, and physically active experiences families love about our summer S-CAPE program.

This one week program provides a safe, positive, and energetic environment filled with winter themed sports, creative arts, cultural activities, recreation, and fun for children ages 6–12.

Participants will explore a variety of indoor and outdoor locations throughout the city, giving them the chance to stay active, make new friends, and experience Yorkton in a fun and engaging way during the winter break.

S-CAPE Winter Break Update

Our very first S-CAPE Winter Break pilot program was packed with energy, laughter, and unforgettable winter adventures! Participants dove right in, literally, with a swimming afternoon full of splashes and smiles. They learned new skills at a hands-on curling clinic, got creative with winter-themed crafts, and explored their curiosity through exciting science experiments.

Of course, we made the most of the Saskatchewan winter with tobogganing, skating, and high-energy gym games that kept everyone moving and having fun. From teamwork moments to belly laughs, this week was all about trying new things, building confidence, and making memories.

We are so proud of how this pilot program turned out and can’t wait to grow S-CAPE Winter Break even bigger next year! ❄️
