S-CAPE (Summer Culture, Arts, and Physically Active Experiences) is a popular City of Yorkton program focused on culture, arts, leadership, and activity based learning. S-CAPE Winter brings that same spirit to the February break, providing fun, safe, and engaging experiences throughout the City of Yorkton.

📍 Who: Children ages 6–12
📅 When: February Break 2026: February 17-20
📌 Where: Gloria Hayden Community Centre - 279 Morrison Drive plus multiple indoor and outdoor City of Yorkton locations
S-CAPE Winter offers a mix of:
- Winter sports and games
- Creative arts and cultural experiences
- Recreation activities
- Leadership and team-building opportunities
Fun and learning go hand in hand, and activities are designed to keep participants active and engaged throughout the week.
📋 What to Bring
While specific details will be shared closer to the program date, parents should plan to send:
Warm winter clothing (coat, mitts, hat, snow pants, boots)
Indoor shoes
Refillable water bottle
Two snacks and a nutritious lunch
Any medications your child needs
🕒 Daily Schedule & Locations
Once the full schedule is finalized, it will be shared by email. Activities may take place at a variety of City facilities to offer a diverse winter experience.
📣 Communication
All important updates — including weather-related changes or reminders — will be emailed to registered families.

The City of Yorkton is committed to a safe environment for all participants. Program staff will:
- Supervise activities
- Provide clear behaviour expectations
- Respond to incidents as needed

❄️ Weather & Outdoor Activities
Some winter activities may be weather-dependent. In the event of severe cold or unsafe conditions, alternate indoor plans will be provided.
