The New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) is an accord between the governments of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba that creates Canada's largest, barrier-free, interprovincial market.

The Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) is an intergovernmental trade agreement signed by Canadian Ministers that entered into force on July 1st, 2017. Its objective is to reduce and eliminate, to the extent possible, barriers to the free movement of persons, goods, services, and investments within Canada and to establish an open efficient, and stable domestic market.

The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is an agreement between Canada and the European Union (EU) along with its member states. The main objectives of the agreement are to strengthen economic ties, create a more open market for goods and services by reducing trade barriers, establish clear and mutually beneficial trade rules, and uphold democratic principles and fundamental rights.
