Investing in Yorkton's infrastructure. 💧

The York Road Reconstruction – Stormwater Upgrades project was made possible through $6.8 million in funding from the Government of Canada through the Canada Community-Building Fund.

Completed between 2022 and 2024, the project improved Yorkton's stormwater management system by installing 3,496 meters of:

✔️ Storm pipe

✔️ Culvert upgrades

✔️ Drainage and ditch improvements

These critical upgrades help protect infrastructure, improve drainage capacity, and support future growth in our community.

The City of Yorkton would not have been able to undertake a project of this scale without the federal funding and support received.
