City of Yorkton Summer Program
S-CAPE is
the City of Yorkton's summer program based on culture, arts, and physically active experiences. We provide a safe, positive, energetic program and environment that incorporates sports, culture, arts, recreation, and leadership components for children and youth between the ages of 6 and 12. This year we are also offering limited spots for children age 5!
S-CAPE meets at many locations throughout the city to allow your child or children to experience everything Yorkton has to offer.

Week 1 - June 29 - July 3
What an amazing first week at S-CAPE Day Camp!
We kicked off the summer by getting to know our camp leaders and new friends through fun icebreaker games, creative crafts, and exciting activities.
On Tuesday, we welcomed special guests from a Ukrainian dance studio, who shared their culture through music, movement, and dance. Campers had a wonderful time learning new steps and experiencing a new tradition.
Thursday was full of laughs as campers dressed up for our Minion-themed parade! We explored other parks in the area, and took Yorkton in a Minion storm!
We wrapped up the week by wearing our favourite jerseys and participating in a variety of exciting track and field activities led by a special guest. Campers showed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm as they challenged themselves and cheered one another on.
Thank you for an incredible first week of summer camp! We can't wait to see what adventures Week 2 brings.
