January 9 - Skating Pathway Update

Good progress continues at Patrick Park. Several additional floods have been completed on the skating pathway, and the Zamboni completed a full round of flooding today to help build and smooth the ice surface.

Additional flooding will happen on Saturday. At this stage, the skating pathway is essentially ready for skating. Skaters are asked to be mindful that some areas may feel less smooth, as light snowfall occurred while flooding was underway.

As flooding continues and conditions stabilize, the surface will continue to improve. Once complete, we’re on track to deliver one of the best skating surfaces the Patrick Park pathway has seen. Stay tuned for further updates as finishing touches continue.
