Hydrant Flushing Update – September 14

Crews continue to make progress on the City’s water main and hydrant flushing program. The following areas are currently planned for flushing this week:

Monday, September 14

  • Broadway Street West, west of Dracup Avenue — north lane
  • Seventh Avenue North
  • Sixth Avenue North
  • Fifth Avenue North
  • Darlington Street West, between Dracup Avenue and Second Avenue
  • Dunlop Street East, from Dracup Avenue to Sixth Avenue

Tuesday, September 15

  • Fourth Avenue North, between Broadway Street and Darlington Street
  • Third Avenue North, between Broadway Street and Darlington Street
  • Second Avenue North, between Broadway Street and Darlington Street
  • First Avenue North, between Broadway Street and Darlington Street

Wednesday, September 16

  • Betts Avenue, between Broadway Street and Darlington Street
  • Myrtle Avenue, between Broadway Street and Darlington Street
  • Dracup Avenue to York Road
  • Henderson Drive
  • Collacott Drive
  • Eighth Avenue North

Thursday, September 17

  • Sixth Avenue North, from Dunlop Street East to York Road
  • Fifth Avenue North to York Road
  • Fourth Avenue North to York Road
  • Third Avenue North to York Road
  • Second Avenue North to York Road

Crews will be working Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until the program is complete.

Planned areas and timing may change due to weather, emergency repairs or other operational requirements.
