Why is the Water Park closing?
The Water Park closes for maintenance every two years to complete maintenance work and repairs that cannot be done while the pools are full of water and with features operating. This work includes:
Upgrades to the water treatment and filtration systems will also be completed during this shutdown period.
When does the Water Park close?
The last public swims are scheduled for the July 25, 26 & 27 weekend. The Water Park will close on July 28th to begin draining water from the pool systems.
How long will the Water Park be closed?
The largest factor of this shutdown is the water treatment and filtration project, which we expect to take two months to complete. The Water Park is scheduled to reopen on Friday October 3rd, barring any unexpected issues with the filtration projects.
What happens to my monthly pass during the closure?
All monthly passes will be frozen starting on Monday July 28th. Passes will be reactivated the day the pool is ready to open to the public. Punch passes are not impacted by this closer, as there is no expiration date on those passes.
